Who is on the men's basketball roster for 2024? ›

USA Basketball finalized its men's roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 12-player roster includes LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Kawhi Leonard*, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Bam Adebayo, Derrick White and Tyrese Haliburton.

Played mostly during March, the tournament consists of 68 teams and was first conducted in 1939. Known for its upsets of favored teams, it has become one of the biggest annual sporting events in the US. The 68-team format was adopted in 2011; it had remained largely unchanged since 1985 when it expanded to 64 teams.

The United States national basketball team will be led at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris by coach Steve Kerr. It will be Kerr's first Olympics as the team's head coach, though he was an assistant coach under Gregg Popovich for the gold-medal-winning U.S. squad in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
