The closest station to the stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From Gosford station, the stadium is a short walk away.

Please note that due to planned weekend trackwork, Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains run to and from Strathfield only. If you are catching the train from Sydney, you will need to change at Stratfield for a Central Coast & Newcastle Line service to Gosford. Allow extra travel time andplan your tripahead of time.

Match Ticket Entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to the 2024 A-League Men Grand Final at Industree Group Stadium in Gosford include travel on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services(non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail
  • Sydney Metro North West Services.

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.

Metro services start from the early morning running every 10 minutes until late. Change at Epping to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford. Match tickets include travel on metro and trains.

The closest station to Industree Group Stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. The stadium is a short walk away via Showground Road and Dane Drive. Match tickets include travel on trains.

Trackwork

Planned weekend trackwork is taking place on Saturday 25 May on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:

  • T1 Western Line: Trains may run to a changed timetableand stopping pattern. Richmond trains make extra stops at Granville and Auburn.
  • T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Regents Park.
  • T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Regents Park and between Richmond or Schofields and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Richmond or Leppington and Cabramatta or Granville for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford or Merrylands.
  • Blue Mountains Line: Most trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only. Change trains at Blacktown to continue your journey.
  • Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Most trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change trains at Strathfield to continue your journey.
  • South Coast Line: From 3am to 11am, buses replace trains between Port Kembla, Dapto and Waterfall. You may need to change buses to continue your journey. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry, Kiama and Dapto.

Routes 19, 21, 22, 23, 64 and 67 run towards Gosford making stops near the stadium.

Vivid Service changes

From Friday 24 May to Saturday 15 June:

  • On Fridays from 6pm to 1am and on weekends (Saturdays, Sundays and public holiday Mon 10 Jun) from 5pm to 1am, L2 and L3 light rail services will not run between Town Hall and Circular Quay due to road closures and for pedestrian safety.
  • Light rail services will continue to run between Town Hall and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford during these times.

Newcastle Light Rail

Newcastle Light Rail services run from 5am to 1am daily between Newcastle Interchange in Wickham and Pacific Park in Newcastle East. With six convenient stops, it’s easy to get around Newcastle’s city centre and connect with train, bus and ferry services.

Catch a light rail service to Newcastle Interchange and change for a train to Broadmeadow where the stadium is within short walking distance.

drive Drive

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as thousands of fans travel to and from the match. Travel with your group, allow extra time and plan to arrive early as parking will be in high demand.

Dane Drive will close before the match from 4.30pm between the Central Coast Highway and Donnison Street for the safety of pedestrians, and will reopen once crowds have cleared the area.
