LANCASTER, NEW ERA Obituaries B4 THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 2005 Obituaries Olive Galebach Dorothy M. Farlow Betty J. Hastings Edna Mae Culp Gring Lydia W. Martin Dorothy M. Farlow, 89, of the United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz, formerly of Hopeland, died Wednesday morning in the Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Man-heim she was a daughter of the late Harry Eitnier and Stella (Horning) Eit-nier Keith. She and her husband Lewis H. Farlow were married 71 years on May 12. Also surviving are two grandchildren, David A. (Robin A.

Bowers) Barr and Alison D. (Michael Miller; 4 great grandchildren; half-brothers, Russell Keith of Galeton, Mervin (Miriam) Keith and Clifford (Annetta) Keith, both of Lititz and Robert (Helen) Keith of Akron and a half-sister, June Landis of Lititz. Dorothy was predeceased by a daughter, Dottie Lou Barr; sons David and Timothy Farlow; a sister, Esther Eitnier and a half-brother, Ray Keith. Dorothy was employed by Hopeland Mfg. Co.

for 20 years retiring in 1978, was a member of Hopeland U.M. Church, the Leisure Hours Club of Brick-erville and enjoyed sewing and baking. Viewing Saturday 10-1 1AM, Funeral in Hopeland U.M. Church, 295 Clay Lititz, with Rev. Dennis Snovel officiating.

Born in Chil-howie, VA the daughter of the late Frank and Edna' Adams Richardson. Betty retired in 2000 after over 20 years of service in the District Justice Office in Quarryville. She was a member and served as a Deacon at Union Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed her flowers and watching stock car racing, but her greatest love was watching her grand and great grandchildren play in sports. Betty and her husband, Robert N.

Hastings celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary last December. Surviving besides her husband is a son, Steven, married to Jan Hastings of Kirkwood and 2 daughters, Linda married to Michael Shoemaker and Donna married to Larry G. Kreider, both of Quarryville. 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Jeff Richardson of Claymont, DE and a sister, Jane Adams of Peach Bottom also survive her. A son, Robbie Hastings and a sister Thelma Eckman preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday evening, June 23rd at 7:30 from Union Presbyterian Church, 5637 Street Kirkwood, PA with Pastor John Ferguson and Reverend Dr. Vincent Wilson officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:30. Interment will be private in Union Cemetery. Born in Lebanon County, he was the son of the late Theodore C. and Ruth Naftzinger Loser. He was the husband of Hazel J. Brownsberger Loser. They were married for 57 years.

Mr. Loser was a graduate of Duke University in 1950 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was an electrical engineer with RCA for 31 years. After he left RCA, he did consulting work with Buchbee Mears in China.

He was a life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers; a member of Thu Beta Pi (Honorary Engineering Fraternity) and a Registered Professional Engineer. Mr. Loser was a member of the Red Rose Barbershop Chorus, Lancaster. He enjoyed sports, travel, signing and dancing. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster.

Previously, he was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where he served as a deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher. He was a veteran who served in the Naval Air Corps. Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Robert C. Loser, Alexandria, VA and Michael R.

Loser, husband of Elizabeth D. Loser, Dover, PA; grandchildren, Christopher A. Loser, York, PA and Bethany A. Loser, State College, PA and a sister, Joyce Swope, Redmond, Washington. He was preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Bachman, Jonestown, PA.

Born in Reading, PA, Edna graduated from Reading High School and attended Albright College. She later returned to college, graduating from Millersville State College in 1974 with a degree in Library Science. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in Education from Temple University in 1978. She taught in the Wilson School District in Reading, retiring as librarian at Southern Jr. High in 1990.

Active in the First Presbyterian Church for many years, she was a member of a Women's Circle and she served as a deacon. She also was a member of American Association of University Women (AAUW) and volunteered for a number of years at the Mountville Public Library. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul; two sons, Phillip and his wife, Jan of Mechanics-burg and Stephen and his wife, Mary Ann of Ocean City, NJ and three grandchildren, Kelly of State College and Zach and Jeff of Mechanicsburg. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 140 E. Orange Lancaster.

The family will greet friends and relatives following the service. Interment services will be private at the Charles Evans Cemetery in Reading, PA. Bom in Denver, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Sarah Lausch. Earlier in her life, she was employed by the former R.C.A. Corporation Lancaster, and the former Evans Restaurant Manheim; Olive later worked at the Wilbur Chocolate Company, Lititz.

She was the wife of the late Carl G. Galebach who died in August of 2003. Galebach was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Penryn and was active in the womens fellowship and altar guild. Her interests included flower and vegetable gardening, cooking and baking.

Surviving are two sons, Clair husband of Darby S. Shuey Galebach of Cleona, Thomas husband of Donna M. Weaver Galebach of Lititz; four grandchildren, Sandy Moyer, Carl Galebach, Dana Guard and Brian Galebach; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 10:00 AM.
