of course the one year I get pregnant is the year my seasonal allergies are BADDD. What do you guys do about it? I was reading not to take my nasal spray (dymista) unless pros to mom out weigh potential negatives to baby ( which also it said they are unknown lol)
I'll probably contact my doctor about this. in the meantime. I thought I'd see if anyone has any suggestions to look Into.
thanks 🤧

Did they give you a list of safe meds? I know Zyrtec and benedryl is on mine. I believe saline spray is ok too but not sure on that one.

I use saline nasal spray daily and take Claritin. If it’s really bad, Benadryl at night. All safe during pregnancy.

Same as everyone said above. Saline nasal spray and Benadryl if it’s bad. Ask your doc for a list of safe meds but those were on my list

@smilesformiles22,
I'll try it haha, but that stuff usually isn't strong enough.

@molliem1,
I totally agree! I can’t say it worked welllll but sadly the good stuff isn’t allowed The Benadryl did help a bit but the saline spray does nothing when it’s really rough

I'm on Claritin and Flonase nasal spray, all rated as safe for use in pregnancy. My seasonal allergies are brutal, so not taking them wasn't an option!

@fayeinthewoods,
yeah I have a bunch of flonase so I'll talk to my midwife about using that during the bad days!

Maybe try the Navage or a Neti pot?

I do nasal spray/saline, daily allergy pill, fluticasone, sometimes neti pot. I’m with a high risk OB who approved these. I also use a humidifier.
